Advertising Terms

Effective 23 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-23

Your advertising account

These terms apply when you use Rumba Ads Centre and supplement the Terms of Use and Advertising Policy. You must control the account and be authorized to advertise the approved venue or published event. You are responsible for the creative, offer, destinations, audience, permissions and charges for campaigns you authorize.

Rumba advertising is provided by Bytebridge Technologies. Contact ola@rumba.co.bw with your campaign or invoice reference for billing, review or support questions.

Creative and review

A campaign specifies an image, headline, optional text, placement, internal venue or event buttons, audience, budget and schedule. You must own or have permission to use the content. Submitted creative is saved as a fixed review copy. Every new or edited version requires review before delivery; saving a draft does not activate it.

Review can approve, request changes or suspend a campaign. Approval is not an endorsement or a guarantee that an offer complies with every local requirement. You remain responsible for the business, offer and destination. Ask for review of a decision by contacting Rumba with the campaign reference and supporting details.

What is charged

Pricing is CPM: the accepted price per 1,000 viewed impressions for each selected placement and billing currency. A counted image impression requires at least half of the ad to be visible continuously for at least one second while the app or page is active. Merely downloading or requesting an advertisement is not a billable view.

A person can generate more than one counted impression, subject to the campaign's per-person daily placement limit. Clicks and ticket purchases are reported separately and are not additional CPM charges. Client observations and server validation support measurement; they cannot establish that a real person paid attention to every view.

Spend accumulates at fractional minor-unit precision and rounds the cumulative amount up to a payable minor unit. Later invoices subtract amounts already invoiced, so a fraction is not rounded again on each billing period. Reports and budgets use the campaign's billing currency.

Prices, budgets and delivery

Review and explicitly accept the displayed community, standard and premium prices for each placement and billing currency before saving. The viewer’s approximate area selects the applicable tier: a matching radius takes priority over a town, then a country rule; the smaller of overlapping radii takes priority, with stable area identifiers resolving equal-size ties. Areas without a matching rule use Standard. A campaign keeps its accepted tier prices and area rules until an edit requires acceptance of current pricing. Disabling a placement price or billing currency stops new delivery for it.

The total budget caps cumulative CPM spend, and the daily budget caps delivery for each UTC calendar day. A view that would exceed either cap is not charged. A campaign may stop below its budget when the remaining amount cannot cover another view at its accepted rate. Budgets are limits, not promises to spend the full amount or deliver a particular number of views. Each campaign and its invoices use one fixed billing currency. Local billing is offered only for currencies enabled for the merchant’s DPO payments. Rumba does not silently convert an accepted campaign price when an invoice is issued.

Delivery depends on approval, the schedule, available placement space, matching eligible adults, account and business status, budgets and paid invoices. An approved campaign may receive few or no views. Targeting is approximate and cannot guarantee a person's identity, location or attendance. Pausing or finishing stops new delivery; already counted usage remains payable.

Four-day billing and DPO payment

The first usage invoice is issued four days after the first counted impression. Further unbilled usage is invoiced on subsequent four-day billing cycles. If service processing is delayed, the invoice is issued when processing resumes; it still covers only counted usage. Finishing a campaign does not remove its final invoice.

An issued unpaid invoice pauses further advertising for the campaign until payment is confirmed. Pay the invoice through the DPO checkout offered in Ads Centre. Opening checkout, returning from a payment page or taking a payment screenshot is not confirmation. Rumba verifies the provider's payment amount and currency before crediting the invoice.

These terms do not authorize an automatic debit from your card. You complete the hosted payment for each invoice. You are responsible for any payment-provider or currency-conversion charges disclosed by that provider. Contact us promptly about a payment that appears duplicated or an incorrect charge. A verified duplicate payment is reviewed for refund and does not create additional advertising revenue credit.

Campaign results

Reports include counted impressions, button clicks, spend and available geographic and ticket results. Click-through rate uses impressions with at least one click, so pressing both buttons on one impression does not create two clicked impressions.

Ticket attribution uses the last matching Rumba ad click within seven days before checkout, for the same account, event and currency. Only confirmed paid purchases create conversions. Processed refunds reduce attributed ticket revenue; fees and the advertiser's operating costs are excluded. Reported return on ad spend compares attributed net ticket revenue with CPM spend. It is not a promise of profit, incremental sales or a complete view of sales made elsewhere.

Reports can change as payments and refunds are processed. Locations are aggregated and may be unknown or approximate. Rumba does not supply individual viewer or subscriber contact lists as part of campaign reporting.

Disputes, restrictions and changes

Raise a billing dispute with the campaign, invoice and relevant dates so we can review delivery and payment records. Keep paying undisputed amounts. Pausing, suspending, finishing or deleting an account does not erase valid charges already incurred. Any refund or adjustment depends on the verified facts and applicable rights.

We may reject or stop advertising for policy, safety, legal, payment or account concerns. Invalid, fraudulent or manipulated activity must be reported and may be investigated. We may update these terms or advertising features, with material changes identified before they govern new advertising commitments. Mandatory legal rights are unaffected.
