Delete your Rumba account

Rumba is operated by Bytebridge Technologies. You can request deletion from the app or on this website.

Request deletion

  1. Sign in and open Account settings, or open your profile in the Rumba app.
  2. Choose Delete your account and Request deletion.
  3. Enter your current password and type DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm, then submit the request.

If you cannot sign in, email ola@rumba.co.bw from the email address on your Rumba account. We may ask you to verify ownership. Do not email your password.

What happens to your data

We review the request and any outstanding financial or business obligations before deletion is completed. Account and personal data are deleted or anonymised as part of the deletion process. Records needed for payments, disputes, fraud prevention or legal recordkeeping may be retained with restricted access for the applicable purpose. See our Privacy Notice for retention information.

Submitting a request does not immediately erase the account. Its status is shown in Account settings, where a pending request can also be cancelled.

Need a break instead?

You can pause your account from your profile in the Rumba app and return later without requesting deletion.
